Omega Speedmaster Mk.III Automatic 1970’s ref; 176.002 A brilliant example of a 70’s Omega Speedmaster Mk.3 This reference 176.002 features a large 41x51mm stainless steel brushed case with a striking blue dial, chronograph sub dials and contrasting orange seconds hand. It is completed with an original Omega bracelet with 23 links. The condition of this watch is excellent with only small blemishes viewed under magnification and under certain lighting conditions, but some wear is expected for the age. The dial is stunning with only a small blemish near the date window. Dont let the caseback fool you, this is a Speedmaster. the Seamaster caseback is correct for its age as the Speedmaster was originally a subset of the Seamaster lineup. The caseback is in great condition under the plastic film. The movement is a joint venture between Omega and Lemania and together created the Calibre 1341, this was the first Speedmaster to feature an automatic movement. Although this watch when new was deemed waterproof, due to its age we do not guarantee this watch for swimming, the seals have been checked and replaced if necessary but it is our opinion that this watch is not used in water. This watch has been serviced and as such we provide a 12-month mechanical warranty.
